Frank Sperl Lapham Jr., age 81, died March 6 in Brookings, Oregon. Born May 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Frank Sperl and Etta Kay Lapham of Middletown, New York. He is also preceded in death by a sister Ruth Delaney.
Survived by sons, Edward (Klaudia) Lapham of Lake City, Florida, Marc (Lisa) Lapham of Murfreesboro, TN. Grandchildren: Tami Lapham of Lake City, Florida, Andy (Michelle) Carlton, Eagleville, TN; Emily (Kyle) Roberts, Owensboro, KY; Lucas Lapham, Murfreesboro, TN. Great Granddaughter: Avery Sky Carlton, Eagleville, TN.
Born in Middletown, NY, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon discharge, he went to work at Union Carbide in Tarrytown, NY. Upon retiring in 1991, he moved to Sacramento California, eventually moving to Brookings, Oregon.
A memorial service will be held at Walter Hill First Baptist Church, 6607 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN on April 20 th at 2:00 p.m. with a military burial on April 21 st at 11:00 am at Swanson Cemetery, Chapel Hill, TN.
