Gail Copeland

Audrey Gail Copeland, 73, of Knoxville, TN died Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born on September 18, 1942 in Valdosta, Lowndes County, GA to the late Lonnie Curtis Dawkins and Katie Louise Moore Dawkins. Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker and a member of Karns Church of Christ. No one loved her three children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren quite the way their "Nanny" did. She was a loving and compassionate servant to all. Above all, she displayed Christ and her love for him in all that she did.

She is survived her daughter and son in law, Sheila and Alvin Pratt of Chapel Hill, TN, son, Randy Copeland of Knoxville, TN and son and daughter in law, Bart and Heather Copeland of Nashville, TN, grandchildren, Peyton Pratt (Danielle) of Fairfield, OH, Preston Pratt (Shelby) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Lacey Pratt of Chapel Hill, TN, Gigi Copeland of Nashville, TN, Kavi Copeland of Nashville, TN, great granddaughter, Sophia Pratt and great grandson, Copeland Pratt both of Fairfield, OH, two sisters, Sandra Daughtrey and Pam Kinsey both of Valdosta and brother, Wayne Dawkins of Valdosta. Mrs. Copeland is predeceased by her husband, William Randall Copeland.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at two p. m. in the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel, Valdosta Georgia. Burial will be at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens, Valdosta Georgia. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Monday at the funeral home.
