Garrett Giles

Mr. Garrett O. Giles, age 95, Pulaski, TN, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Marshall County, TN and a son of the late Arthur Giles and Bessie Orum Giles Jay.  Mr. Giles worked as a machinist for Alco in Chicago, IL and he served in the United States Army.  He was a member of United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a daughter, Geraldine Giles; brothers, Wattson, Kitt, Lewis, and Garland Giles and John Jay, Jr.; sisters, Viola Jones, Elizabeth Sweeney, and Jessie Mai Craft.

Mr. Giles is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Giles of Pulaski, TN, his daughter, Deborah Giles McCullough; brother, James H. Giles of Tullahoma, TN; sister, Jean Domenico of Lumbard, IL.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
