German Taylor “Frog”, “Bubba” McMillen, III, born on October 1,1955 passed away in his beloved hometown of the Harpeth Community on December 15,2024. He was a cherished member of his community and well-known employee of Williamson County Sheriff’s Department under Fleming Williams. He retired from the Williamson County Highway Department in 2021.
He followed in the footsteps of his grandfather having his love of dump trucks.
Frog is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly Kelley McMillen; mother, Brownie Hood Schmid; brothers, Mark and David “Payday” McMillen.
He is preceded in death by his father, German McMillen, Jr; grandparents Fred & Elizabeth Hood; stepfather, Karl Schmid, and his daughter, his shining light Crystal Marie McMillen.
Countless memories created with family and friends will be held dear forever. His absence will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation with the McMillen family will be held 4-8:00PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Bro. Gary Fewell to officiate. Pallbearers are Jonathan Kelley, Darron Moore, Roddy Parker, Howard “Slugo” Hood, Chris Richards, Paul Tomlin, and JK McMillen. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN.
