Gladys Coleman

Mrs. Gladys Coleman, age 93, of Chapel Hill, TN died on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014.  She was a native of Bedford County, TN and a daughter of the late Finous Marvin and Mary Adelade Taylor Sudberry.  Mrs. Coleman was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.   She was also preceded in death by her husband Luther Edward Coleman in 1998, a son John William Coleman and a grandson Gary Coleman, Jr., sisters, Nannie Belle Hensley, Rena Gentry, and Maudie Smith; brothers, Jimmy R. Sudberry and Ellis Franklin Sudberry.

Survivors include daughters: Debra Jean Hammond of Chapel Hill, TN and Laurie Ann Coleman of Chapel Hill, TN; sons, James Edward Coleman of Chapel Hill, TN and Gary (Lou Ellen) Coleman of Lewisburg, TN; 3 grandchildren, Ronnie (Shelia) Coleman, Robbie Hammond, and Sherry Lynn (Dac) Burrow; 5 great grandchildren, Heather, Brittany, Cameron, Cali, and Christian.  3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation with the family will from 4 PM-8 PM on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Millard Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County, TN.
