Gladys Stem Trout

Mrs. Gladys Stem Trout, age 96, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Friday, February 7, 2020 in Shelbyville, TN.  She was born in Bedford County,TN to the late Thomas Asa Stem and Lizzie Alma Taylor Stem.  Mrs. Gladys was a homemaker and a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.  She was a graduate of the Class of 1941 from Forrest High School and a member of the Forrest Alumni Association.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Trout, who died in 1996, and a sister, Ruby Lamb.

Mrs. Trout is survived by her daughter, Pat Trout of Chapel Hill, TN; granddaughter, Susan(Cory) Sisk of Chapel Hill, TN; grandson, John (Brittany) Key of Chapel Hill, TN; 5 great grandchildren, Payton, Harley, and Cody Sisk and Bailee and Addison Key.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 1 PM until 3 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 3 PM with Rev. David Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN

Payton Sisk, Harley Sisk, Cody Sisk, Cory Sisk, Tom Lamb, and Blaize Sweeney will serve as pallbearers.
