Glenda Joyce

Mrs. Glenda King Joyce, age 66 of the Holts Corner community, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Born in Lawrence Co., TN, Mrs. Joyce was a daughter of the late Thomas Lofton Yeager and Dovie Howell Yeager. She was a member of the Holts Corner Baptist Church. Mrs. Joyce worked for several years at Forrest Landing in Chapel Hill and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Bubba” Joyce; a daughter, Mary Jane Riner; a son, J.T. King; a sister, Evie Sue Clifford and a brother, Thomas Laverne Yeager.
Survived by 2 daughters, Rebecca (Eddie) King of Holts Corner and Susie (Billy) Marsh of Lewisburg; a sister, Brenda Anderton of Leipers Fork in Williamson Co. and a brother Jerry Yeager of the Laws Hill community; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial will follow at Hopper Cemetery at Laws Hill.
