Gordon Foster

Mr. Gordon Lee Foster, age 84, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Wednesday morning, March 8, 2017 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Foster was born in Silver Point, Tennessee and was a son of the late Floyd and Hester Clemmons Foster. He served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Foster was a member of the Eagleville Church of Christ. His hobby was ham radios and he was a member of the Ham Radio Club. He retired from Jamison Bedding Company of Franklin, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was also preceded in death by his wife, Minerva Elizabeth Hatcher Foster, who died in 2002; sisters, Justine McCord and Nell Lynch, and a brother, Jerry Foster.

Mr. Foster is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Larry Vaughan, Knoxville, TN; granddaughters, Deborah (David) Kennerly, Stanley, NC, Laura (Scott) Sensky, Houston, TX; nephew, Charles Michael McCord, Eagleville, TN; brother-in-law, Roy Lynch, Eagleville, TN; his caregiver, Debbie Ryan, Eagleville, TN; and all his special friends at Creekside Assisted Living.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Lawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Triune Cemetery in Triune, TN.

Mike McCord, Jon McCord, Bobby McElhaney and Destin Sensky will serve as pallbearers.
