Hazel Rowland

Mrs. Hazel Buckingham Rowland, age 86, of Winchester, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, died Saturday, March 14, 2020, following an extended illness. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. Rowland was the daughter of the late Melvin Earl Buckingham and Alta Rae Vaughn Buckingham. Mrs. Rowland was a retired Mail Room Supervisor with the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency and a member of the Green Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Rowland who died in 1998.

Survived by her daughter, Barbara (Keith) Clay of Winchester, TN; 3 grandchildren, Eric (Terrie) Gentry, Jason (Ashley) Gentry and Amanda Nichols; 5 Great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Gentry, Brayden Gentry, Noah Nichols, Aubrey Gentry and Hunter Dupree; 1 Great- great grandchild, Anthony Thompson.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 4pm – 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 16, 2020 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Hom at 1pm. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
