Hazel Tyree
December 11, 1931 — April 14, 2017
Mrs. Hazel Harris Tyree, age 85, of the Berlin community, died Friday, April 14, 2017. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. Tyree was the daughter of the late Malcolm Patterson Harris and Bessie Viola Hardison Harris. She was retired from Genesco and was a member of Berlin United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tyree was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Wallace Tyree.
Survived by 3 daughters, Jerri (Larry) Williams, Susan Tyree Oliver and Jan Tyree Jett all of the Berlin community; 4 grandchildren, Karen (Hank) Arsenault, Jennifer Stinnett (Willie) Calahan, John (Kate) Oliver and Kim (David) London; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Haynes Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home.
