Herbert Manire

Mr. Herbert Manire, age 87, of Columbia, TN, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Manire was a native of Rutherford County, TN and was a son of the late John Henry and Willie Mai Wright Manire. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an automotive parts salesman. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Beasley, a grandson, David Pierce, and 6 brothers and sisters.
Mr. Manire is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Hartley Manire of Columbia, TN; children, Marsha (Ricky) Erwin of Lewisburg, TN, Johnny Paul (Lisa) Manire of Nashville, TN, and Michael (Donna) Glasgow of Columbia, TN; brothers, Harold Manire of California, Austin (Doc) Manire of Unionville, TN, and Jimmy Lee Manire of Columbia, TN; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation with the family will be from 1 PM until 3 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Erwin officiating. Interment will follow in Manire Cemetery near Eagleville, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
