Horace Burrow

Mr. Horace L. Burrow, age 76, of Columbia, TN, died Friday, April 7, 2017 in Athens, AL.  Mr. Burrow was a native of Marshall County, TN and a son of the late Marvin G. Burrow, Sr. and Minnie Elizabeth Pyland Burrow.  He served in the United States Air Force, worked at Walker Die Casting, General Electric, and taught CNC Machinery.  Horace was a member of Baptist faith and the American Legion Post #19.  He was loved by all his family, friends and neighbors and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his wife, Laverna Clara Cooper Burrow, his sisters, Frances M. Burrow and Ruby Earlene Burrow Gipson.

Mr. Burrow is survived by his sister, Elizabeth K. (Charles) Owens of Decatur, AL; brothers, Marvin G. (Salene) Burrow, Jr. of Lewisburg, TN, Robert W. Burrow of Pulaski, TN, and Charles (Mary) Burrow of Pittsburgh, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be conducted at 1 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2017 with interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
