Mr. Hoyte Haskins, age 86, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 24, 2020 in Columbia, Tennessee.
Mr. Haskins was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt “Ted” and Sarah Rebecca Molder Haskins. He was retired from Eaton Corporation of Shelbyville and was a member and served as a deacon at Caney Spring Baptist Church in the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County. In addition to his parents, Hoyte was also preceded in death by two brothers, William “Bill” Haskins and Harold Haskins.
Mr. Haskins is survived by his wife of 67 years, Alice Haskins, Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Gary (Tracy) Haskins, Lewisburg, TN, Murray Haskins, Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Melvin (Colette) Haskins, Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Jeremy (Danae) Haskins, Jessica (Aaron) Hughes, Lee Collins; nine great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Hoyte's Life will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Caney Spring Baptist Church with Bro. Stephen McCollum and Bro. Tony Anderson officiating.
