Hugh Fults

Mr. Hugh “Bubba” Fults, age 78, of Columbia, TN, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Columbia. Born in Nashville, TN, Hugh was the son of the late Jerome and Mildred Richardson Elliott. Mr. Fults was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church. Hugh retired from Hippodrome Oldsmobile where he worked as an auto body technician. He also loved to build remote control airplanes, hunting, fishing and working in his garden. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fults is preceded in death by his sisters; Wanda Toombs and Connie Mires; brother, Jerry Wayne Elliott.

Mr. Hugh is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sherry Ann Fults of Columbia, TN; daughter, Kimberly (William) Hill of Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Keith Fults of Chapel Hill, TN, Kevin Fults of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Thomen of Franklin, TN, Brittney Hill of Murfreesboro, TN, Jacob Fults, of Columbia, TN; sister, Teresa (Chip) Parsons of LaVergne, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Per Mr. Fults’ wishes, he will be cremated with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
