James Gomia

Mr. James Richard Gomia, age 84, of Chapel Hill, died Wed., Jan. 7, 2015 following an extended illness. A native of Middletown, OH, Mr. Gomia was a son of the late Harley Gomia and Minnie Almeda Judd Gomia. He was a retired accountant and veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Gomia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bartlett Gomia who died in 2012 and a brother, Harley Lloyd Gomia.

Survivors include a son, James Robert “Bob” Gomia of Spring Hill, TN and 2 Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sun., Jan. 11, 2015 from 6PM – 7PM at Lawrence Funeral Home to be followed at 7PM with a Memorial Service. Friends and family will gather at 1PM, Mon., Jan. 12, 2015 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN for graveside services with Military Honors
