James Wiley, Sr.

James David Wiley, Sr. age 53 of the Rally Hill Community passed away June 10, 2023. David was an avid NASCAR fan and worked in construction.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Wiley; sons, Christopher Wiley, James David Wiley, Jr, Kerry Wiley, Anthony Wiley, Ryan Mealer and Bradley Mealer; daughters, Jessica Wiley and Kayla Steadham; 17 grandchildren; brother, Bobby Eugene Wiley; sisters, Mary Dean Poteete and Mildred Irene Wiley and many loving nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Wiley; brothers, Daryl and Eddie Wiley and sister, Lynn Wiley.

Visitation with the Wiley family will be held 2-6:00PM Saturday and two hours prior to the service 1:00PM Sunday June 18, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Eggleston Cemetery. David’s sons and brother, Bobby will service as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the James David Wiley Memorial Fund.
