Janice Boswell

Mrs. Janice M. Blackwell Boswell, age 65, of the Wheel community of Bedford Co., died Friday, November 8, 2019 following an extended illness. Born in Bedford Co., Mrs. Boswell was a daughter of the late Ernest Blackwell, Jr. and Bonnie Lee Pugh Blackwell. Janice was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was a retired Mail Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Logue.

Survived by 2 daughters, Donna K. Freeman of the Wheel community; Heather West of St. Augustine, FL; 2 grandchildren, Kara Beth Freeman and Alex Freeman.

Visitation will be from 2pm – 8pm, Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11am, Monday, November 11, 2019 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. David Rash officiating.
