Jeanne Turner

Mrs. Jeanne Turner, age 92, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Mrs. Turner was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Tom and Caroline Ruth Haynes Fleming.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Urban Turner, who died on the same day and date, in 1978; a son, Larry Turner; and a brother, Billy Fleming.

Mrs. Jeanne was a member of Eagleville Church of Christ.  She loved to cook and was known for her delicious cooking, but, she was best known for her visiting and carrying food to those who were sick, elderly, or less fortunate.  She enjoyed sending cards to people for all occasions and loved hosting gathering during the holidays.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her children, Linda (Ronnie) Gannon, Eagleville, TN, David (Lynn) Turner, Mt. Juliet, TN; daughter-in-law, Cathie Turner, Arcadia, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Perssico, Richard Turner, Paul Turner; great grandchildren, Emily Hoffer, Ashlynn Perssico, Kendall Perssico, Luca Perssico; great great grandchildren, Griffey Hoffer, Enzo Hoffer.

Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral home with Rev. Tommy Jobe officiating.  Burial will follow in Rocky Glade Cemetery.

David Berry, Bobby Boyce, Kerry Boyce, Kenneth Boyce, William Underwood and Tony Underwood will serve as pallbearers.
