Jerry Lowe

Mr. Jerry Lowe, age 83, of Manchester, TN, formerly of Eagleville, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Manchester, TN. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN, and was a son of the late Paul Shannon Lowe and Ammie Pauline Smotherman Lowe. Jerry worshipped at United Pentecostal Church and worked as a truck driver and mechanic.  He worked for AVCO and retired from Venture Express after 32 years of service.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Shannon Lowe.

Mr. Jerry loved working and staying active.  He enjoyed camping and going traveling.  He had a passion for NASCAR racing and going to the races.  Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed being with them! 

Mr. Lowe is survived by his loving wife that he had been together with for 40 years, Yvonne Gardner Lowe of Manchester, TN; children, Donna Lowe Snead of Hillsboro, TN, Angie Lowe (Adell) Farris of Hillsboro, TN, Pam Lowe (Charlie) Dodd of Smyrna, TN, Eric (Julia) Sutton of Bell Buckle, TN; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Church, Brandon Anderson, Bryce Sutton, Alex Culver; 2 great grandchildren, Kinsley Cook and Cruz Culver; sister, Sara Maupin of Rockvale, TN; brothers, Larry (Janice) Lowe of Eagleville, TN, Gene (Susan) Lowe of Murfreesboro, TN; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, April 15, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Dodd officiating.  Interment will follow at Rosebank Cemetery in the Flat Creek Community in Bedford County, TN.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Anderson, Bryce Sutton, Kyle Pearce, Adell Farris, Chris Hendrix, Dayton Hendrix.   Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Poore and Bobby Clarey.
