Jesse James

Mr. Jesse J. James, age 82, of Lewisburg, TN, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence in Lewisburg, TN.  He was a native of Davidson County, TN, a son of the late Herbert and Lula Shearon James.  Mr. James was retired from the Beaman Bottling Company in Nashville, TN and was a member of the Church of Christ.  Mr. James served in the United States Army.  In addition to his parents, Mr. James was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert and Carnell James, and his sister, Jeanelle James.

Mr. James is survived by his wife, Faye James of Lewisburg, TN; his children, Teresa (Troy) Woodside of Lewisburg, TN, David James of Lewisburg, TN, and Jessica (Kevin) Johnson, Chapel Hill, TN; 4 grand children, Jesse Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Levi Johnson, and Halen Bryant; sisters, Sonya (John) McQuiston, Trudy (Tommy) Reel, and Edna King.

The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Swanson Cemetery with Roy Holt officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
