Jessie James Kincaid

Mr. Jessie James Kincaid, age 83, of the Pottsville Community, died Friday, June 29, 2018 in Lewisburg, TN.  He was born in Maury County, TN, and was a son of the late Oscar Raymond and Mary Alma Tankersley Kincaid.  Mr. Kincaid was a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ where he served as an Elder.  He was a retired supervisor from Genesco Corp. and later as a supervisor from Mid America Dairymen.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a son, Terry Kincaid, and sisters, Viola Thacker and Louise Moore.

Mr. Kincaid is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hila Kincaid of Pottsville Community; daughter, Connie Darlene (Mike) Corter of Pottsville Community; son, James Michael Kincaid of Pottsville Community; sister, Evaline (Harry) Lunn of Spring Hill, TN; brother, Oscar Bayless Kincaid of Columbia, TN; brothers in law, Ed Thacker of Spring Hill, TN,  Jack Moore of Spring Hill, TN; 5 grandchildren, Crystal Bunty, Jennifer Kincaid, Justin Kincaid, Tabitha Dawson, Brad Corter; 7 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Jesse, AJ, Addie, Josh, Jackson, and Allison.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 2, 2018, at 11 AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Hood officiating.  Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery near Lewisburg, TN.
