Jim Culver

Mr. Jim Culver, age 88, of Rockvale, TN, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Born in Wisconsin, Jim was the son of the late Orin Jewell Culver and Sylvia Maude LaBounty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Culver and a daughter, Stormy Lee.

 Jim was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He retired from the Wisconsin State Historical Society in Madison, WI where he was very active in historical restoration. He enjoyed yard work , was a master tinkerer and a great supervisor. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren he especially loved his pets, Gracie and Lucie. He was a member of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN.

Survivors are his wife of 16 years, Pat Culver of Rockvale, TN; 2 daughters, Terry Lynn (Don) Greer of Rockvale, TN and Corrie Marie Driver of Madison, WI; 2 sons, Jeffrey Roy (Katie) Henderson of Rockvale, TN and Stephen Wayne (Jeanette) Henderson of Murfreesboro, TN; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10 AM – 11:45 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 12 PM at Carlton Cemetery at Rockvale, TN.
