Mr. Jimmy Harper, age 54, died Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home near Eagleville, Tennessee. Mr. Harper was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a son of the late James Arthur and Bobbie Faye Petty Harper Spain.
Jimmy was a mechanic, farmer and used farm equipment dealer and was employed with Farm Sales of Eagleville for over 30 years. He served as a volunteer with the College Grove Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years and was a member of the Rocky Glade Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Harper was a wonderful husband to his wife, Loretta Harper, Eagleville, TN; a devoted father to his two sons, Brandon Harper and Brent Harper, both of Eagleville, TN; and was also survived by brothers, Greg (Bonnie) Spain, Chapel Hill, TN, Derrick Harper, Panama City, FL; sisters, Tina Pewitt, Beech Grove, TN, Connie (Rick) Wallace, Vevay, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:30 am at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Triune Cemetery in the Triune Community of Williamson County.
