Joe Collins

Mr. Joe Collins, age 80, of the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County, died Sunday morning, March 29, 2020 at his home following several months illness.

Mr. Collins was born in Marshall County and was a son of the late John Marshall and Janie McElhaney Collins. He served his Country in the Army National Guard and was a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ. He retired after 33 years as a supervisor with Heil-Quaker Corp. of Lewisburg. In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was also preceded in death by his wife, Laurece Burgett Collins, who died in 2004.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Daisy Collins; daughter, Sharon Collins Norris; grandson, Joe Norris, all of the Caney Spring Community; several nieces and nephews.

In light of the Coronavirus health crisis, there will be no visitation and a private family graveside service will be held with burial to follow in Reed-Walker Cemetery, near Chapel Hill. Please know that online tributes thru the funeral home website are equally appreciated.

David Smith, Paul Smith, Benny Clark, Randy Clark, John Burke, David Penrod and Tommy Moses will serve as pallbearers.
