Joe Dylan Warrick, age 21, of Unionville, Tennessee, presently living in Columbia, Tennessee, died Monday, August 25, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee. Joe Dylan was born in Maury County and graduated in the top 10 of the Class of 2011 at Community High School in Unionville, Tennessee. During his years in high school, he was a member of the Leo Club, Student Council, P.U.S.H. Organization, Leadership Bedford, Governors School of Fine Arts and National Honor Society. Following graduation, he attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt, loved to play billiards and hang out with friends playing X-Box. Joe was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and was an employee of The Daily Herald in Columbia, TN where he worked in the circulation department. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Steward, grandmother, Linda Warrick and great grandfathers, Raymond Warrick and Jimmy Mash.
Mr. Warrick is survived by his parents, Daniel and Dottie Steward Warrick, Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Katie Warrick and brother, Gabe Warrick, both of Chapel Hill, TN; grandmother, Dot Steward, Columbia, TN; grandfather, Billy Warrick, Chapel Hill, TN; great grandmothers, Eddie Mae Mash, Columbia, TN, Minnie Stout, Lewisburg, TN, Virginia Warrick, Nashville, TN; aunts, Ginger (Tim) Remer, Columbia, TN, Cora (Jonathan) Moss, NC, Judith (James) Canady, Lewisburg, TN, Beth (Randy) York, Watertown, TN; girl friend, Mary Beth Steiner; and several cousins including Jessica Martin, Mattie Martin, Leslie (Bryan) Cole and Baby Aniston, all of whom he loved to hang out with.
Family members will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 starting at 4:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of the life of Joe Dylan will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Tim McGehee, Robert Ralston and Keith Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Gardens, Spring Hill, TN.
Gabe Warrick, Easton Horton, David Ryan Ensey, Kevin Whipple, Devin Story, Keith Williams, Joseph Freebury and Dillon West will serve as active pallbearers. Employees of The Daily Herald, Community High School Class of 2011 and Faculty and Classmates at University of Tennessee at Knoxville will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Joe Dylan gave to others the gift of life through organ donation.
