Johnnie Manire

Miss Johnnie Mai Manire, age 92, of Columbia, TN, formerly of Nashville, TN died Friday, April 10, 2015 in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Bedford County, TN and a daughter of the late John Henry and Willie Mai Wright Manire.  Miss Manire was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church in Nashville and was a retired customer service representative with Bell South Communications serving for 40 years.  Miss Manire was very active with Senior Citizens in Nashville.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Smith and her brothers, Malcolm, Marcus, Earl, and William Howard Manire.

She is survived by her brothers, Doc Manier of Unionville, TN, Jimmy and Herbert Manire both of Columbia, TN, and Harold Manier of California and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 3 PM until 6 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM, Monday, April 13, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ricky Erwin officiating.  Interment will follow at Manire Cemetery near Eagleville, TN.
