Joseph Young

Joseph Young, age 55 of Chapel Hill, TN. passed away May 24, 2023. Joe was born May 2, 1968 in Pikeville, TN. Joe was a member of College Grove Baptist Church. He worked for Carrier as a forklift operator. Joe had a servants heart who never met a stranger and would always give a helping hand to whom needed. He’s a loving husband and father who had a wonderful sense of humor and never gave up the chance to tell a good “dad joke!” Joe is survived by his loving wife, Donna Martin Young; sons, Keith (Molly) Martin and Ben (Sara Kay) Young; mother, Earline Young; sister, Cyndi (Jerry) Johnson; special aunt, Sarah Young and many loving nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, George Edward Young. Visitation with the Young family will be held 4-8:00PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service 2:00PM Sunday May 28, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the College Grove Baptist Church Missions Fund. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery. Keith Martin, Ben Young, Tony Martin, Brian Martin, Jerry Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Lucas Johnson and Daniel Lamb will serve as pallbearers.
