Josephine Potts

Mrs. Josephine Potts, age 90, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Born in Williamson County, TN, Mrs. Potts was the daughter of the late LeRoy Crafton and Nellie Jane White Crafton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Prentice Potts; a daughter, Joy McCall and a son-in-law, Joe McCall. Mrs. Potts was a retired LPN having worked at multiple health care facilities in Marshall County. Her passion was in caring for people. She was a member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Louise Potts of Lewisburg, TN James Prentice (Karen) Potts of College Grove, TN and Kenneth Lee (Dianne) Potts of Winchester, TN; 8 grandchildren, Gary McCall, Randy McCall, Joey Potts, Jessica Richardson, Stephanie Beddingfield, Chelsey Williams, Tina Corley and Josh Phillips; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces.

Visitation will be 4 PM – 8 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Joe Corley and Donnie Rader officiating.  Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN. 

Pallbearers will be Jeff Haynes, Thomas Landers, Steven Landers, Clint Williams, Brian Richardson and Josh Phillips.
