Joseph "Joe" King

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Bryan King, age 83, of Eagleville, TN died Thursday, December 20, 2012. Mr. King was born in Rutherford County, TN and was the son of the late Charlie and Velma King. He attended Millview Church of Christ near Franklin, TN and was a retired terminal manager for Triangle Refineries, Inc. of Nashville. Mr. King was preceded in death by brothers Ed Berry King and Paul King.

Mr. King is survived by his wife of sixty years, Margaret Kelley King, Eagleville, TN. He was the beloved father of five children Brad (Renee) King, Eagleville, TN, Jeff (Sharon) King, Unionville, TN, Brook King, Smyrna, TN, Jock King, Eagleville, TN, and Alisa (Joe) Jack, Eagleville, TN; nine grandchildren: Joseph (Jessica) King, Benjamin (Victoria) King, Jonathan King, Rebecca (Wes) Kennedy, Sarah (Jimmy) Bratcher, Nathan King, Jesse Allen-King, Alaina Jack, and Allison Jack; and a great-grandson, Sawyer Bratcher. He is also survived by a sister, Charlotte Ralston, and brothers, Richard King, Bob King, Charlie King, David King, and Philip King.

Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Millview Church of Christ near Franklin, TN with Ed Slayton officiating.  Family members will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.  Burial will follow in King-Cook Cemetery in Bedford County.
