Joy Harris

Mrs. Joy Harris, age 67, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Maury County, TN and the daughter of the late Ennis Collins and Grace Jackson Moore. Joy was a homemaker and member of the Forrest High School Class of 1972. She enjoyed watching television, playing games, socializing, and laughing, but most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Harris, in 2011, and a sister, Pat Morgan.

Joy is survived by her children, Christy Harris of Lewisburg, TN and Rodney Harris of Chapel Hill, TN; 4 grandchildren, Destiny Harris (L’Teric Anderson), Hanna Harris, Cainen Martin, and Carlea Martin.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
