Kenneth "Kenny" Cummings

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Cummings, age 70, of the Wheel Community passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Nashville, TN to the late Wayman G. Cummings and Hermoine Gower Cummings.  Kenny proudly served our country in the United States Army.  He worked in the tool and die division for Stanley Tool.  Kenny was a graduate of the Marshall County High School Class of 1971.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jenoise Hudgick, and a grandchild, Paisley Cummings.

Kenny loved fishing and growing his garden.  He enjoyed playing cards and his favorite game was Texas Hold Em!  He liked sports and watching football and enjoyed raising chickens.  Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Kenny is survived by his children: Wayman (Rebecca) Cummings of Smyrna, TN, Will Cummings of the Wheel Community; 4 grandchildren, Keely Cummings, Gavin Cummings, Luke Cummings, and Charlotte Cummings; and his sister, Sue (Ronnie) Allison of Gallatin, TN.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 6 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 6 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with family and friends officiating.
