Kevin Paul Mackenzie

Mr. Kevin Paul Mackenzie, age 60, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in Columbia, TN.  He was born in Avalon, NJ to the late John Bernard Mackenzie and Frances Diane Ruse.  Kevin proudly served our country in the United States Army.  He worked in construction and plumbing.  Kevin was a member of The Refuge Church in Chapel Hill where he served as a greeter and participated in the First Impressions Ministry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lori Anne Williams Mackenzie in 2019, and a sister, Kim Mackenzie.

Kevin enjoyed listening to music, watching FOX News, and riding four- wheelers.  He loved worshiping at church, giving candy to the kids, and eating Hershey’s chocolate.  Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Kevin is survived by his children: Robert (Audra) Mackenzie of Chapel Hill, TN, Sarah (Corey) Leverette of Laws Hill Community, Diane (Jon) Williams of Lewisberry, PA;  Mom, Ida Mackenzie of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren, Lydia Alexis Mackenzie, Josiah Randale Leverette, Summit Grace Williams, Sophia Maria Williams; siblings, Barry Mackenzie, Dani Mackenzie, Kerri Mackenzie, Jay Mackenzie, and Mary Eastman.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2 PM at The Refuge Church in Chapel Hill, TN with Pastor Shane Peyton officiating.
