Krista Carnes-Fisher

Krista Leeann Carnes-Fisher, age 40, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Krista was a graduate of Forrest High School Class of 1998 in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. She was very involved in the Home Church she attended and was an insurance sales person.

Krista is survived by her husband, Michael Fisher and her three children, Coleton Lee Elrod, Madalynn Elissa Fisher and Everleigh Brilasann Fisher, all of Murfreesboro, TN; father and mother, Douglas and Melissa Carnes, Murfreesboro, TN; aunts and uncles, Sue (Lanson) Rogers, Denise (Jimmy) Myers, Jani (Andy) Cate, Hardy (Debbie) Jaggers, Marlena Carnes-Burkhead, Robin Honaker, Jay Carnes and Mike Carnes.

Krista was preceded in death by her brother, Adam Lee Douglas Carnes and grandparents, Hardy Lee Jaggers, Jr., Ruth Skaggs Jaggers, Adam Carnes and Ruth Hornback.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 1:00 (EDT) at Sonora Cemetery in Sonora, KY with Pastor Mike Mahlbacher officiating. Burial will immediately follow.

Family members will receive friends on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Brentwood Baptist Church Chapel, 7777 Concord Road, Brentwood, TN  37027.  A Celebration of the life of Krista will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel.

A Celebration Service of the life of Krista will be also held at Thurman's Landing, 103 Broadway Street, Sonora, KY at 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
