Larry Dyer, Sr.

Mr. Larry Dyer, Sr., age 67, of Shelbyville, TN, died Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Shelbyville, TN.  He was a native of Murfreesboro, TN, and a son of the late Sidney Albert and Lavada White Mears Dyer.  Mr. Dyer was retired from working in tree service.  Larry was a member of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Albert Dyer and Roy Clifton Dyer.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Dyer of Shelbyville, TN; children, Lisa (Andrew) Spain of Shelbyville, TN and Larry Eugene (Shana) Dyer, Jr. of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Sandra Dyer (Gary) Johnson of Christiana, TN; grandchildren, Tyler Tyree, Brayden Spain, Autumn Spain, Bradly Dyer, Amanda Dyer, Shelby Dyer, Sidney “Sid” Dyer, and Haley Dyer; 6 great grandchildren; special nephew, Jimmy (Kathy) Dyer and special niece, Deborah (Chad) Jones; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Dyer Cemetery in Rockvale, TN.
