Laurie Ann Coleman

Laurie Ann Coleman, age 61, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday evening, May 31, 2024 at her home in Lewisburg.  Laurie Ann was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Luther Edward and Minnie Gladys Sudberry Coleman.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Coleman.

Miss Coleman was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Lewisburg and worked for over 30 years at the Marshall County Impact Center in Lewisburg.

Laurie Ann is survived by her sister, Debra Jean Hammond, Chapel Hill, TN; brothers, James Edward (Betty) Coleman, Chapel Hill, TN, Gary (Lou Ellen) Coleman, Lewisburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Giles officiating.  Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.

Sherman Hill, Christian Hammond, Robbie Hammond, Ronnie Harmon, Sammy Coleman and Richard Coleman will serve as pallbearers.

The family of Laurie Ann would like to extend a special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Vicki Wright, Heather Norvland, Donna Cozart, Wanda Poarch, Lynn Holt and Adrianna White for their friendship, love and compassion they have given to Laurie Ann over the years.  They would also like to thank the caregivers and staff of Hospice Compassus, especially Andrew, who always sang to her on each visit.
