Lawrence Davenport

Mr. Lawrence Edward “Road Dog” Davenport, age 57, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018. A native of Williamson Co., he was a son of the late Thomas Clark Davenport and Sara Lena Thomas Davenport who survives. Mr. Davenport was a furniture upholsterer.

Survived by his mother, Sara Thomas Davenport of Eagleville; his life partner, Vivian Gill of Lewisburg;  a daughter, April Wilkins of Murfreesboro; 4 sons, Anthony and Thomas Davenport of Columbia, Bryce Gill of Lewisburg, Joshua Wilkins of Carthage; 7 sisters, Sarah Ann Moore of Eagleville, Brenda Moore of Lewisburg, Carolyn Beard of Santa Fe, Dorothy Love of Columbia, Deborah Biederman of Columbia, Sandra Thoni of Columbia and Kathy McKennon of Mt. Pleasant; 3 brothers, Larry Davenport of Lewisburg, Joseph Davenport of Lewisburg and Jasper Davenport of College Grove; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Davenport, Adrien Davenport, James Hicks, Shauna Hicks, Chloe Davenport, Mason Davenport, Landon Britt, Baylee Britt, Shelby Moore, Molly Moore.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service  will be scheduled by the family at a later date.
