Mr. Lee Davis, Jr. age 71, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Friday, October 10, 2014 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Davis was born in Enterprise, Alabama and was a son of the late Elizabeth Tidwell Davis and Lee Davis, Sr. He was a graduate of Giles County High School, Class of 1961 and following graduation, proudly served his country as an airman in the United States Air Force. Mr. Davis was an avid fisherman and a very talented artist. He was formerly employed with Mead Container Co. of Lewisburg.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Janet Davis, Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Becky (Chuck) Coble, Lewisburg, TN, Debbie (Kevin) Howard, Orlando, FL; son, Joey Davis, Cornersville, TN; step-daughter, Angela (Ken, Jr.) Butler, Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Carolyn Davis, Goodspring, TN, Linda (Lawrence) Johnson, Pulaski, TN; grandchildren, Chelsea and Charlie Coble, Ryan and Megan Howard, Tabitha (Junior) Freeman, Christopher Short; several nieces and nephews.
Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Eason officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, TN.
