Lenelle Smithson

Mrs. Lenelle Marable Smithson, age 72, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Born in Davidson Co., TN, Mrs. Smithson was the daughter of the late Urban Homer Marable and Doranelle Edwards Marable. Mrs. Smithson was a former Band Director at Smyrna High School and received her Master’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church where she served as the Choir Director for a period of time.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Smithson of Chapel Hill; her son, William Kyle Smithson of Chapel Hill; also survived by a host of friends.

Visitation and funeral services will be Monday, December 17, 2018 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with visitation from 11am – 1pm followed by the funeral service at 1pm with Reverend David Johnson officiating. Interment will be at 3pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN.
