Leona Rippy

Mrs. Leona Marie Haynes Rippy, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, died Friday, August 14, 2020 in Lawrenceburg after several weeks illness.

Mrs. Rippy was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Hugh Rucker and Willie Bilbro Taylor Haynes. She was a homemaker, a former employee of Durango Boot Company of Chapel Hill and later retired from Tennessee Shirt Works in Lawrenceburg. Mrs. Rippy was a member of Kingdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Rover Community of Bedford County. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, Charles Ray Braly, Roy Pugh and Farris Leon Rippy; and her brother, John Robert Haynes.

Mrs. Rippy is survived by her sons, Michael Ray Braly, Sr., Lynnville, TN, Franklin Keith Braly, Stephen Juan Braly, and Rodney Braly, all of Lawenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Andrew Massey, Michael Ray Braly, Jr., Rhonda Lee Braly, Brandy Lee Braly, Tasha Marie Braly; great grandchildren, McKayla Locke and Jake Powell.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in Bedford County.
