Lillie Chaffin

Mrs. Lillie Carver Chaffin, age83, of Beechgrove, TN, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 in Nashville.  Born in Jasper, TN, Mrs. Chaffin was a daughter of the late Doc Robert Carver and Hazel Lorene Hix Carver. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chaffin was preceded in death by 2 children, Edward Toney and Deborah Kirby; 3 brothers, William Robert Carver, Doyle Lebron Carver and Abner Kirk Carver.

Survived by her husband of 56 years, Leo Chaffin of Beechgrove; 2 daughters, Alice Chaffin of Shelbyville, Ruby Dyer of Murfreesboro; a son, Ernie Chaffin of Beechgrove; a sister, Sarah Jane Luper of Mt. Juliet, TN; a brother, Donnie Carver of Stevenson, AL; several grandchildren, great grand children and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 11am – 2pm at Lawrence Funeral Home followed by the Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial will follow at Rocky Glade Cemetery in Rutherford Co.
