Linda Simpson

Mrs. Linda Faye Simpson, age 72, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Franklin, Tennessee. Mrs. Simpson was born in Drummonds, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Hubert Edward and Lorena Mae Meharry Millican. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Millican and James Richard Millican.

Mrs. Simpson was a retired florist for Krogers, having worked for 20 years in Franklin, TN and 10 years at Krogers in Nolensville, TN. She was a member of the Eagleville United Methodist Church. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband of 55 years, James R. Simpson, Sr., Eagleville, TN; children, James Robert (Jennifer) Simpson, Jr., Smyrna, TN, Rhonda (Mark) McConnell, Shelbyville, TN, Eddie (Judy) Simpson, Eagleville, TN; sister, Joyce Blyue, Covington, TN; brother, Larry (Mary) Millican, Spring Hill, TN; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Eagleville United Methodist Church. Memorial services for Mrs. Simpson will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Church with Rev. Brad Demonbreun officiating.
