Lindsey Schoenberger

Lindsey Ann Schoenberger, age 26, of Antioch, Tennessee, formerly of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Monday, August 1, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. Lindsey was born in Davidson County and grew up in Chapel Hill. She was a graduate of the Class of 2008 at Forrest High School and furthered her education at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.  Lindsey was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Chapel Hill and was an employee of the State of Tennessee, Department of Children’s Services.

Lindsey is survived by her daughter, Amelia Jade Turner; fiancée, Walter Mack Turner, both of Antioch, TN; mother and step-father, Kim and David Junkins, Chapel Hill, TN; father, Abraham Jay Schoenberger, Nashville, TN; sisters, Sara (Channing) Harris, Allyson Faith Blanton, Anna Grace Blanton, Jenna Hope Blanton, all of Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Taylor Schoenberger, Chapel Hill, TN; grandparents, Glenn and Margaret Haynes, Lewisburg, TN, Ed Schoenberger, Brentwood, TN; niece, Madelyn Harris; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joan Schoenberger.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Smyrna Baptist Church, 113 Morningside Drive, Chapel Hill, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Robinson and Dean Delk officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott Cemetery near Chapel Hill.

Walter Turner, Taylor Schoenberger, Cody Richardson, Channing Harris, Keith Haynes, Robert Schoenberger and Jake Burkett will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Madison Spence, Amanda Hawn, Kayla Hendricks and Lori Haynes.

Memorial donations may be made to the Amelia J. Turner Trust Fund at First State Bank, Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
