Mrs. Lois Booth, age 84, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Mrs. Booth was born in Davidson County and was a daughter of the late Celia Clarice Wade and Bethel Pierson Carmen, Sr. She was a member of River Rock Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and was a retired Rutherford County Bus Contractor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Booth was also preceded in death by her husband, William Oval Booth, who died in 1995; a daughter, Betty Jean Conway, daughter-in-law, Emma Booth, sister, Gilbertine Carman and brothers, Bethel Pierson Carman, Jr., Jesse Lee Carman, Jerry Wade Carman and James Richard Carman.

Mrs. Booth is survived by daughters, Vickie (Wayne) Johnson, Eagleville, TN, Lynn (Lynn Allen) Redmond, Eagleville, TN, Cheryl Barrett, Alpharetta, GA, Wilma (James “Tater”) Wright, Lewisburg, TN; son, Glendal Booth, Louisville, Ky; sister, Margaret Norfleet, Nashville, TN; brother, Cecil Carman, Maryville, TN; twelve grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 16, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Glade Cemetery near Eagleville.

Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
