L. Steven Curtis

Mr. L. Steven Curtis, age 65, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was born in Shelbyville, TN and was a son of the late Maurice Brandon and Margie Ruth York Brandon.  Steve was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN and retired from Vanderbilt where he worked in data research.  He enjoyed watching birds, raising chickens, listening to music, growing flowers, but most of all he loved his family!  Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Margie Ruth York Brandon, a son, Cody Curtis, and brother-in-law, Wayne Allen.

Steve is survived by his children; Erica Curtis of Chapel Hill, TN and Josh (Jennifer) Curtis of Chapel Hill, TN; granddaughter, Savannah Curtis of Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Linda Allen of Shelbyville, TN; and nephew, Derek Geeting of Colorado.

Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 2 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 with Bro. Bobby McGilliard officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
