Lyla Hargrove

Mrs. Lyla Gentry Hargrove, age 91, of the Rover Community, died Friday, December 11, 2015.  Mrs. Hargrove was a native of Bedford County, TN and a daughter of the late Randolph and Algie Darnell Gentry.  She was a homemaker and retired from the Durango Boot Company in Chapel Hill, TN.  Mrs. Hargrove was a member of the Rover Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hargrove, Sr., and a great grandchild, Jonathan Daniel Smith.

Mrs. Hargrove is survived by her daughters, Peggy Doyle of Park City, KY, Helen Hargrove of Nashville, TN, and Barbara Prince of Eagleville, TN; her son, William Hargrove, Jr. of Unionville, TN; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 1 PM until 3 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Doyle and Rev. Ronnie Grooms officiating.  Interment will follow in the Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County.
