Marcella Perryman, a beloved mother figure to so many, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2023, at the age of 63.
Marcella was born March 1, 1959, in Lewisburg, TN to Billy Lee Hobby and Mary Sue Curtis Hobby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Perryman. She lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of all those who knew her. Marcella was known for her kind and nurturing spirit, always putting others before herself. She was a second mom to so many, always offering guidance, support and love.
Marcella had a deep love for nature, particularly deer. She would often spend hours watching them in their natural habitat, admiring their grace and beauty while drinking on a Sundrop. She also had a passion for painting and was an accomplished artist. Her vibrant and colorful paintings captured the essence of her surroundings and brought joy to those who saw them.
Above all else, Marcella cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, second mother, and best friend. Her warm smile, infectious laughter and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Marcella’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local wildlife conservation society in Marcella’s honor.
Marcella’s legacy of love and kindness will live on through those she touched in her lifetime. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her sisters, Melinda (Trey) Hite of Hartsville, TN and Melissia (David) Perryman of Lewisburg, TN; brothers, Richard (Rita) Hobby of Shelbyville, TN, William Hobby of Shelbyville, TN and Chris (Charlene)Hobby of Lewisburg, TN; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
