Marie Waddey

Mrs. Marie Phillips Waddey, age 71, of Franklin, TN, formerly of the Laws Hill community, died Sat., Dec. 22, 2012. Mrs. Waddey was a native of Maury Co. and a daughter of the late Nat Baxter Phillips and Evie Bradley Phillips. She was a caregiver and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Waddey who died in 2000; a daughter, Jackie Kreig; a brother, Wilburn Phillips.
Survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Chylak of Franklin; Judy Irvin of Nashville; a son, Gene Holt of Franklin; 2 sisters, Peggy Scott of the Law’s Hill community; Lorene Scott of Lewisburg.
6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sun., Dec. 23, 2012 from 2PM – 8PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Mon., Dec. 24, 2012 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery.
