Mrs. Martha Wallace Arnold, age 92, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Mrs. Arnold was born in the Flat Creek Community of Williamson County and was a daughter of the late Sam Ennis and Bernice Lee Reed Wallace and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Arnold, who died in 2005.  She was a homemaker, and along with her daughter, were the owners of the former Hometown Shop in Chapel Hill. For over 70 years, Mrs. Arnold was an active member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also very active in the Chapel Hill Senior Citizens Center and the Flat Creek Community Club.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her children, Charlie (Doris) Arnold, St. Johns, FL, Judy (Bobby) Copeland, Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Dan (Melinda) Sweeney, Chapel Hill, TN, Andi (Keith) Perry, Jason (Beth) Arnold, Kelley Watts, Hunter (Lucy) Arnold; great grandchildren, Boone Sweeney, Zac Burnett, Blaize Sweeney, Addie Perry, Lauren Arnold, Molly Watts, Jackson Arnold, Noah Arnold; one great great grandchild, Beau Burnett.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Swanson Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to graveside services.

Dan Sweeney, Boone Sweeney, Blaize Sweeney, Jason Arnold, Hunter Arnold, Keith Perry and Zach Burnett will serve as pallbearers.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 246, Chapel Hill, Tennessee 37034
