Martha Clark

Mrs. Martha Ann Boyce Clark, age 89, of Unionville, TN, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Born in Bedford Co., Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the late John William Boyce and Wilma Gladys Purvis Boyce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Clark; 3 sisters, Betty Hinson, Jean Stevenson and Annette Ward; 2 brothers, William “Billy” Boyce and John William “Jitter” Boyce; twin grandsons, Joel Henry Fann and William Boyce Fann.

Mrs. Clark served as Postmaster of the Unionville Post Office for 27 years. Following her retirement, she spent her time doing the things she loved which was traveling, working in her flowers and spending time with her family – especially her granddaughter. Mrs. Clark was an avid reader. She loved puzzles and mysteries and had a distinct sense of humor. She was a blessing to all.

Survived by 2 daughters, Debbie (David) Fann of Unionville and Sandy Clark of Lewisburg, TN; a son, William Patrick Clark of Unionville, TN; a sister, Margaret “Susie” Smith of Shelbyville, TN; a brother, Thomas Wayne (Linda) Boyce of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Alyssa Fann of Unionville, TN; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Boyce of Shelbyville, TN.

Visitation will be held at Rover Baptist Church, 202 Baptist Church Rd., Eagleville, TN. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 1 pm – 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm at the church. Burial will be at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover community of Bedford Co.
