Mary Crick

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Allen Crick, age 87, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her home in Eagleville. Mrs. Crick was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary Elizabeth Faulkner Allen. She was a graduate of Eagleville High School and enjoyed cooking, sewing and was an avid gardener. Mrs. Crick retired after 20 years of service with the United States Postal Service having worked both at the Eagleville and Franklin Post Offices. She was a long time member of the Eagleville United Methodist Church and loved singing in the choir.

Mrs. Crick is survived by her husband of 66 years, Herbert Bovard Crick, Eagleville, TN; daughters, Susan “Bill” Rucinski, Murfreesboro, TN, Lori Beth “James” Curlee, Eagleville, TN; brother, James W. Allen, Shelbyville, TN.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Eagleville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Gilbert and Rev. Barry Culberson officiating. Visitation on Friday will be from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
